Astara starts a fresh chapter under the leadership of new CEO Ignacio Enciso.

The executive assumes leadership after more than two decades with the company, backed by the Board of Directors and Chairman Jaime Gorbeña.
Madrid, Spain, August 27th, 2025 – Astara, a leading company in vehicle distribution and sales, announces the appointment of Ignacio Enciso as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 20 years of experience at Astara, Enciso steps into the role with the full support of the Board of Directors and the continued leadership of Jaime Gorbeña as President, with the goal of driving the organization forward and strengthening the company’s growth in the coming years.
Enciso holds a degree in Economics from the University of Alcalá de Henares and an MBA from IE University. Over the past five years, he has served as global Astara’s Chief Financial Officer, in addition to holding international positions in Europe and Latin America. His global vision
and deep understanding of the business make him the ideal leader to consolidate Astara’s position as a global benchmark in the automotive sector.

This leadership transition follows the departure of Jorge Navea, who for more than 20 years played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution, leading the transformation of Bergé Automoción into what is now Astara, helping to build a strong and professional team. The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude for his dedication and commitment throughout this period.
