MAXUS MIFA 9

All-Electric Luxury MPV

  • The brand’s first passenger car for families or use as a shuttle service
  • Seven seats arranged in a comfortable 2-2-3 configuration
  • Up to 595 kilometres in the city thanks to 90 kWh battery

The MAXUS MIFA 9 marks the Chinese brand’s first passenger car: The locally emission-free and virtually silent electric drive combines with seven seats and numerous amenities known from luxury models in the 5.27 metres long luxury MPV, which ensures maximum comfort - for everyday family life or when used for shuttle service.

For its first classic passenger car after the vans and the T90 EV pickup, the MAXUS goes all out: Clad in a futuristic looking design with generous window areas, the luxury MPV, available in Germany at prices starting from €68,990, comes with a rare 2-2-3 seat configuration for this vehicle class. It not only makes travelling comfortable, but also simplifies access to the rear seats in combination with the lateral sliding doors, which open and close almost silently depending on the equipment configuration. The standard individual seats in the second row, which can be moved both longitudinally and transversely to the direction of travel, are electrically adjustable in many ways - in the top model even to a lying position with an extendable leg rest. Massage function, seat heating and ventilation are also integrated depending on the equipment and are controlled via a touch display integrated into the armrests.

In addition, passengers benefit from other amenities such as ambient lighting and up to two sliding roofs that set the stage for the interior. The seven-inch digital instrument display provides all important information, while a 12.3-inch touchscreen serves as the central control element - even the drive can be started using this screen, tapping the brake pedal also does the trick. A wide range of assistance systems ensures safety.

Supported by the extensive expertise of the parent company SAIC, one of China's largest automakers, the brand relies on a 180 kW/245 hp electric motor and a 90 kWh high-voltage battery for propulsion. It enables ranges of up to 440 kilometres (WLTP combined), and even up to 595 kilometres are possible in the city. The standard heat pump brings the battery to temperature efficiently and quickly, which improves the usable range in cold weather.

At fast charging stations, the high-voltage battery is charged from 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. At the home wallbox, charging is conveniently done overnight in three phases using the standard 11 kW on-board charger.
